Angular Contact Ball Bearings(718 / 719 SERIES)

Angular Contact Ball Bearings(718 / 719 SERIES)

High-speed precision with controlled axial rigidity

CHG 718/719 precision angular contact ball bearings are single-row, thin-section metric bearings designed for high-speed, high-accuracy rotating systems. A single bearing carries combined radial and axial load, with axial load acting in one direction; matched sets are used when axial load, rigidity or positioning is required in both directions.

Key Features

Preload

Standard matched bearings may be supplied with light (A), medium (B) or heavy (C) preload. Preload improves rotational accuracy, rigidity and running stability, but increases heat generation and reduces limiting speed. Final preload must be selected against speed, load, lubrication and temperature.

Selection, Applications & Ordering

High-Speed Design Notes

Use 19-series dimensions when radial space permits and higher shaft rigidity is required.

Oil lubrication and hybrid ceramic balls can support higher-speed spindle designs.

Derate catalog speed for pairing, preload, sealing, load and elevated temperature.

Keep matched bearings in their supplied order and mounting direction.

Typical Applications

High-speed machine-tool spindles, precision grinding spindles, machining centers, motorized spindles, semiconductor equipment, inspection systems, robotics and other high-accuracy rotating assemblies.
