Self-Aligning Performance
The common spherical raceway allows the bearing to accommodate shaft deflection and alignment errors, helping maintain stable load distribution in heavy-duty equipment.

For heavy-duty steel rolling equipment requiring high radial capacity, resistance to shock loads and tolerance of shaft deflection or alignment error.

For copper and other non-ferrous rolling equipment requiring dependable support, stable load distribution and application-specific internal clearance.

For high-temperature, impact, water-ingress and contaminated-lubrication conditions; material, heat treatment, clearance and lubrication require project review.

For auxiliary and application-specific cold-rolling positions where rigidity, alignment, clearance and operating accuracy must be evaluated together.

For aluminum rolling equipment requiring smooth rotation and reliable support under changing loads, shaft deflection and thermal expansion.

Large spherical roller bearings may suit selected backup-roll or support arrangements where heavy radial loads and self-alignment are key requirements.

Application-specific spherical roller bearing arrangements can compensate for deflection and misalignment; load direction, speed, available space and axial location must be reviewed.

For gearbox shafts and pinion stands subjected to heavy radial loads, vibration, housing deformation and alignment variation.

CHG can review locating and non-locating bearing combinations, including spherical roller and CARB arrangements, as part of the complete roll-support system.
Send the existing bearing number, manufacturer reference, suffix or series designation. CHG will review dimensions, internal design, clearance, bore type and interchangeability.
Send a 2D/PDF drawing or ID, OD, width, chamfer, shoulder, lubrication and mounting dimensions. CHG will evaluate structure, manufacturing feasibility and mating requirements.

Send the machine type and bearing position together with radial/axial load, speed, temperature, lubrication, expected misalignment, shaft deflection and required axial displacement.
GCr15, GCr15SiMn and G20Cr2Ni4A can be reviewed according to size and duty. Normal, C3, C4 or special radial clearance, cylindrical/tapered bore, cage design, lubrication grooves/holes and dimensional accuracy can also be evaluated.
