Double-Row Ball Slewing Bearings
Double-row ball slewing bearings use two rows of balls and a three-ring structure to carry high axial loads and tilting moments in medium-diameter heavy-duty slewing equipment.
Double-Row Ball Slewing Bearings Overview
Key Parameters
Product Type: Double-Row Ball Slewing Bearings
Structure: Three seat rings with two rows of balls
Gear Options: 020 without gear; 021/022 external gear; 023/024 internal gear
Dimension Range D: 616–4778 mm; d: 384–4222 mm; H: 106–226 mm
Reference Weight: 100–4700 kg
Main Loads: High axial load and tilting moment; radial loading requires application-specific verification
Typical Applications: Medium-diameter tower cranes, truck-mounted cranes, and loading/unloading machinery
Double-row ball slewing bearings consist of three seat rings. Balls and spacers can be inserted directly into the upper and lower raceways, with different ball diameters selected according to the load distribution. The open assembly simplifies installation and service, while the 90° load angle of the upper and lower circular-arc raceways enables high axial-load and overturning-moment capacity.
When the radial load exceeds 0.1 times the axial load, the raceway requires a special design. With a robust structure and relatively large axial and radial section, this series is especially suitable for medium- and large-diameter tower cranes, truck-mounted cranes, and loading/unloading machinery.
Product Features
High Load Capacity:
Two ball rows share the load and provide high axial-load and overturning-moment capacity.
Robust Construction:
Three seat rings and separate upper/lower raceways form a rigid load-carrying structure.
Convenient Assembly:
Balls and spacers can be inserted directly into the raceways for easier assembly, inspection, and service.
Multiple Gear Options:
Available in non-geared, external-geared, and internal-geared configurations for different drive layouts.

Model Guide and Selection Notes
Models are grouped by Series 02 and by non-geared, external-geared, or internal-geared construction. Selection should verify overall, mounting and structural dimensions, gear data, reference weight, and actual operating loads. Gear data applies only to the corresponding geared variants; non-geared models do not use gear parameters.
Installation and Service Notes
Mounting Surfaces:
Mounting surfaces should provide adequate rigidity and flatness to prevent ring deformation.
Bolted Joint:
Tighten mounting bolts in a cross pattern to the specified torque and recheck them during initial operation.
Lubrication:
Lubrication-hole quantity and position can be adapted to the application; select grease and relubrication intervals according to operating conditions.
Gear Mesh:
For geared versions, verify backlash, contact pattern, and pinion alignment.
